Growing up surrounded by art and culture from Jamaica and Washington D.C. inspired Morgan to pursue a creative and international career. Landing a job in Ghana in 2013 was the catalyst for Morgan’s interest in textiles, handcrafted apparel, and Ghanaian fashion.
Working with tailors and metal smiths to discover new ways of incorporating West African design into daily style began as a hobby and eventually evolved into Geometric, the social impact accessories brand.
Morgan is passionate about designing handcrafted products with rich patterns and maximalist colors, while at the same time investing back into the supply chain to create sustainable employment and business opportunities for artisans.
Morgan is a Social Business Fellow for Youth & Yunus 2020 and an education specialist working on international policy and tech projects in Africa when she is not at her workshop in Accra.
